Job summary

HealthLinc is seeking a Dental Assistant for the Elkhart, IN area. The role supports patient care from Level 1 to Level 3, assisting chairside, handling radiographs, and ensuring smooth clinical workflows.

Requirements include a high school diploma, Indiana radiography license or provisional, CPR, and a preference for DA certification. Bilingual skills are a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position with HealthLinc’s dental team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer graduate from an accredited dental assisting program.
• Indiana dental radiography license or provisional license required within 6 months.
• Current CPR certification.
• Board certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist chairside during procedures.
• Take vital signs and expose diagnostic radiographs.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-care.
• Assist with four-handed dentistry in basic restorative tasks.
• Place and remove dental dams, matrices, and temporaries.
• Assist with sterilization, equipment maintenance, and inventory.
• Document procedures and maintain dental records accurately.
• Support scheduling and billing processes as needed.
