Job summary

Overview

The role is a traveling Pediatric Dental Assistant position that brings exciting clinical collaboration and a chance to work with a supportive team across multiple locations.

Wondering how this shapes your job experience? You’ll use your expertise to practice group dentistry and ensure every patient leaves our office feeling satisfied.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent chair‑side clinical support and assistance to doctors and hygienists, including charting, operatory set/cleanup, and patient education.
  • Record and review patient health history, enter chart entries under the doctor’s direction, and ensure completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
  • Review the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
  • Prepare patients, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, maintain the chain of asepsis, prepare materials, and assist dentists during procedures following OSHA guidelines.
  • Expose and develop dental diagnostic radiographs.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and safety requirements to include HIPAA compliance, CPR, X‑ray certification, and other required registrations.
Qualifications
  • Dental Assisting Certification or prior on‑the‑job training.
  • 1–5 years of experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
  • Radiography / X‑ray certification for the respective state.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
