Job summary

North American Dental Group (NADG) is seeking a traveling pediatric dental assistant in Homestead, Florida. In this role, you will provide chair-side clinical support, maintain compliance with safety and health regulations, and educate patients. Candidates should have a Dental Assisting Certification, relevant experience is preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply. Job description

We are a best‑in‑class dental practice partnered with North American Dental Group that offers the support we need to provide outstanding patient care. We seek a traveling pediatric dental assistant to join our mission to transform the dental experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair‑side clinical support and assistance to Doctors and Hygienists, including charting, operatory set‑up/clean‑up, and patient education.
• Record and review patient health history, enter chart data under the dentist’s direction, and ensure completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
• Review daily schedules and set up appropriate trays and instruments.
• Prepare patients, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, maintain chain of asepsis, prepare materials, and assist dentists during procedures following OSHA guidelines.
• Expose and develop dental diagnostic radiographs.
• Follow OSHA regulations and safety requirements; maintain compliance with HIPAA, CPR, X‑ray, and other required certifications and registrations.

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting Certification or equivalent on‑the‑job training.
• 1–5 years of experience preferred; new graduates considered.
• State‑required radiography/X‑ray certification.
• CPR certification required.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
