Job summary

North American Dental Group (NADG) is seeking a Dental Assistant in Heath, Ohio. You will partner with the practice team to provide excellent clinical support, assist dentists in restorative procedures, and ensure top-notch patient care.

Qualifications

  • Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
  • 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates.
  • Radiography/ X-RAY certification for respective state.
  • CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent chair-side clinical support and assistance to Doctors.
  • Record and review patient health history and ensure completion of forms.
  • Prepare patients, sterilize instruments, and maintain chain of asepsis.
  • Expose and develop dental diagnostic radiographs.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and safety requirements.

Dental Assisting Certification

Dental Assistant

Schedule

Monday through Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm

Friday 7:45am-2:00pm

Monday and Friday will rotate each week

Responsibilities

Dental Assistant partners with the practice team to provide excellent clinical support to help patients get the care they need. Dental Assistant will help prepare the patient for treatment and assist the dentist in restorative dentistry.

  • Provides excellent chair‑side clinical support and assistance to Doctors and Hygienists which includes but is not limited to: charting, operatory set/clean‑up, and patient education.
  • Records and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor's direction and assures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
  • Reviews the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
  • Prepares patients, sterilizes and disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, maintains chain of asepsis, prepares materials, and assists dentists during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines.
  • Exposes and develops dental diagnostic radiographs.
  • Follows OSHA regulations and safety requirements to include compliance with HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X‑rays, and other required certifications and registrations.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Dental Assisting Certification or prior on‑the‑job training.
  • 1‑5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates.
  • Radiography/ X‑RAY certification for respective state.
  • CPR Certification required.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
