Cardinal Dental Care in Melissa, TX is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our brand-new, state-of-the-art office where patient care comes first. You’ll work with Dentrix, iTero 3D scanning, and digital photography to support dentists with four-handed chairside care while maintaining safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and support their comfort and education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
