Heartland Dental is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant for Franklin Dental Care. The role supports clinicians with chairside assistance, patient education, and accurate record keeping at a modern practice in Franklin, TN.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI data safeguards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them during treatment.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry).
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms adhering to safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders; support office workflow.
