Heartland Dental LLC is recruiting for Green Hills Family Dentistry in Nashville, TN. We’re seeking an Experienced Dental Assistant who thrives in a high-energy, patient-focused team and embraces modern technology to deliver outstanding care.

You’ll greet patients, review health histories, take and process x-rays (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography), provide four-handed chairside assistance, and use Dentrix for scheduling and charting, while upholding safety protocols and HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• HIPAA training and data safeguards

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, sustain patient comfort, and provide education throughout treatment
• Review patient health histories to ensure quality care
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography)
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to supported dentists during a wide variety of procedures
• Use Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
• Prepare treatment rooms with adherence to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC recommendations
• Manage supply and inventory levels and place orders as needed
• Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow
