Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant at Gallatin Dental Care in Gallatin, TN. You will greet patients, review health histories, take x-rays, and assist clinicians with various procedures while maintaining safety and confidentiality.

Training is provided, with opportunities to grow within Heartland Dental’s network and benefit from its long-standing stability and support across offices.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced dental office.
• Certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and educate during treatment.
• Review health history for quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and scans (iTero).
• Chairside assistance (four-handed) during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment room following safety protocols.
• Manage supply and inventory; place orders.
• Support office workflow with Heartland Dental systems.
