Job summary

Family Dentistry of Orange Groves is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join our collaborative team. You’ll greet patients, assist dentists with chairside care, take X-rays, and help manage patient records.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and support them throughout treatment.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process X-rays and manage imaging records.
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists (four-handed dentistry).
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Maintain clean, safe treatment rooms following OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management and supply orders.
