Heartland Dental, the nation's largest dental support organization, is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant for Old Kings Dental Care. In this role you will greet patients, review health histories, assist chairside, take x-rays and help maintain a welcoming, patient-centered experience.

You will work in a supportive team, follow OSHA/CDC guidelines, and contribute to a positive patient journey with opportunities to grow within a trusted network.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection obligations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, as well as sustain patient comfort and provide education throughout treatment.
• Conduct a thorough review of the patient’s health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide superior chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
