Job summary

Heartland Dental in Solon, OH is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a collaborative team. New graduates are welcome to apply; you will greet patients, review health history, take x-rays, and assist dentists with a variety of procedures using Dentrix in a fast-paced environment.

Participants receive front-loaded education and training, with strong emphasis on patient care, safety protocols, and ongoing professional development within a growing nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Certification in dental assisting and/or dental x-ray.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate during treatment.
• Review patient health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chair-side assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room with safety protocols following OSHA & CDC guidance.
• Manage supplies and inventory; place and expedite orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize workflow.
