Job summary

Vista View Dental Care, part of Heartland Dental LLC, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in Peoria, AZ. You will greet patients, review health histories, and provide expert chairside assistance and imaging support.

Strong candidates will have 2+ years of experience, Dentrix and iTero familiarity, and certification as required by state law. This full-time position offers competitive benefits and a supportive, growth-oriented team environment.

Qualifications

Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Access to PHI and regular HIPAA training; protect PHI and data integrity.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome patients at the start of their dental journey and educate them throughout treatment.
Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
Provide four-handed, chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
Prepare treatment room following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
Manage supplies and inventory; place and expedite orders as needed.
Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize workflow.
