Job summary
Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant for Rolling Ridge Dental Care. This full-time role offers a schedule Monday to Wednesday 7:30am-4:45pm, Thursday 6:30am-3:15pm, and every other Friday 7:30am-12:15pm, with a salary range based on experience from $21-$24 per hour and comprehensive benefits.
The successful candidate will provide chairside support, take x-rays, and ensure patient comfort while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
- If required, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet and educate patients from the start of their dental journey.
- Review health history to ensure quality care.
- Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments.
- Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.
- Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
- Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
- Manage supply and inventory; place orders as needed.
- Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
