Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC is seeking a Dental Assistant for our My Dentist-Broken Arrow office. You will greet patients, review health histories, and support dentists with four-handed chairside care using Dentrix for scheduling and records.

This role emphasizes patient comfort, safety, and adherence to OSHA/CDC guidelines. The ideal candidate has dental assistant and X-ray certifications, strong communication, and organizational skills, with HIPAA training to protect patient data.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
• If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• HIPAA training and data safeguards awareness

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, sustaining patient comfort and providing education throughout treatment
• Conduct a thorough review of the patient’s health history to ensure quality care
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography)
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to supported dentists during procedures
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
• Prepare treatment room with safety protocols per OSHA & CDC recommendations
• Manage supply and inventory levels, place and expedite orders as needed
• Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow
