Job summary

Heartland Dental is actively looking for a Dental Assistant to join its Broken Arrow location. The successful candidate will greet patients and provide necessary chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and quality care.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
• Certification may be required under the state dental practice act.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients, sustaining comfort and providing education.
• Conduct a thorough review of patient health history for quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chairside assistance during various procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.

Skills

Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Experience in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment

Education

Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification

Dental assisting school certification
