Job summary

Ideal Dental is seeking a PRN Dental Assistant to join our team. You will support a wide range of procedures, take x-rays, and help manage patient flow. The role emphasizes infection control, patient education, and collaboration with the practice team to deliver exceptional care.

Requirements include an active RDA license, current CPR certification, and 6 months to 1 year of experience. Travel to new offices may be required at times.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant License.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
• DeNovo Offices: Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist a wide range of dental procedures and keep patients comfortable.
• Take dental x-rays with precision to support diagnoses.
• Prepare and break down operatories after procedures, keeping things clean and organized.
• Manage patient flow and assist in transitions during visits.
• Ensure infection control by sterilizing instruments and maintaining safety.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
• Take impressions and bite registrations for dental appliances.
• Conduct iTero scans for accurate diagnostic data.
• Assist with patient charting and documentation for doctors.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver excellent patient experiences.
