Ideal Dental in Fayetteville, AR seeks a friendly Dental Assistant to support a wide range of dental procedures and patient care. You’ll take X-rays, prepare operatories, manage patient flow, and uphold infection control standards, while educating patients on oral care and assisting in charting.

The role includes iTero scans, impressions, and collaboration with the team to deliver excellent patient experiences. Travel may be required for DeNovo offices.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of RDA experience in a dental practice.
• Active RDAs must hold a valid license and CPR certification.
• DeNovo offices may require travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and smooth treatment.
• Take dental X-rays with precision to support diagnoses and treatment planning.
• Prepare and break down operatories after each procedure, keeping a clean, organized workspace.
• Manage patient flow by facilitating smooth handoffs and transitions during visits.
• Maintain infection control by sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices to promote long-term health.
• Take impressions and bite registrations for custom appliances.
• Conduct iTero scans to provide accurate diagnostic data.
• Assist with patient charting and documentation for treatment planning.
• Collaborate with the entire team to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
