Heartland Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant for Christie Dental Belleview. You will greet patients, review health histories, and assist dentists with a variety of procedures using modern technology such as iTero and Dentrix. The role emphasizes patient comfort, safety, and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology is expected.
• If required by state regulations, certification in dental assisting and/or x-ray is needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and support their comfort and education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (e.g., iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists as needed.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders; support team to maximize office workflow.
