Job summary

Heartland Dental seeks a Dental Assistant to join Greenway Center Dentistry, a Heartland-supported office. This full-time role Monday–Friday offers a salary range of $19–$24 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits.

You’ll greet patients, review health histories, capture x-rays with iTero and other imaging, and provide skilled chairside support to our dentists. Proficiency with Dentrix and safety protocols is required.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Fast-paced, customer-centric environment experience.
• Certification as a dental assistant and/or x-ray certification if required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and digital imaging (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supplies and place orders to support workflow.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
