Job summary

Ideal Dental in Texas seeks a personable Dental Assistant to join our growing, clinician-led team. You’ll support dentists, take x-rays, prepare operatories, and help manage patient flow to ensure smooth visits.

You’ll perform iTero scans, maintain infection control, educate patients on oral care, and chart treatments. A licensed RDA with CPR is required, with 6–12 months of experience; travel to DeNovo offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant License.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
• DeNovo Offices: New acquired offices may require travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and smooth treatment flow.
• Take dental x-rays with precision to support diagnoses and treatment planning.
• Prepare and break down operatories, keeping a clean, organized workspace.
• Manage patient flow by facilitating smooth handoffs and transitions during visits.
• Ensure infection control standards by sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices to promote long-term health.
• Take impressions and bite registrations for custom appliances.
• Conduct digital iTero scans for accurate data.
• Assist with patient charting and documentation for treatment planning.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver excellent patient experiences.
