Job summary

Dental Care of Braselton is part of Heartland Dental and is seeking a patient-focused Dental Assistant to join a collaborative team. You will support sterilization, chairside care, and patient education while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role offers opportunities to grow skills, with use of Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping, and exposure to Heartland Dental systems within a supportive office culture.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients as they start their dental journey and support patient comfort and education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health histories to support quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols per OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.
