Qualifications

• 2–3 years of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Strong general dentistry background.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA awareness and patient confidentiality.
• X-ray certification and dental assistant certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients; provide comfort and education during treatment.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic images.
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry).
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment rooms and follow safety protocols.
