Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant for Family Dental of Thornton to join our team. You will greet patients from the start of their dental journey, assist clinicians during procedures, and help maintain a comfortable, efficient treatment environment.

Strong communication, organizational skills, and knowledge of dental terminology are essential. If required, valid dental assistant and/or x-ray certification per state law is needed; Dentrix experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced customer-centric environments.
• Dentrix or similar dental software experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Maintain scheduling/records in Dentrix.
