Heartland Dental's Carus Dental - Kingwood is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You’ll support clinicians with four-handed dentistry, take x-rays, and help manage patient flow.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment with Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping. We provide competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within Heartland Dental’s supported office network.

Qualifications

• Dental certification and/or x-ray certification required per state law.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills essential.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to support quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero, digital photos).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) as directed.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms with safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supplies/inventory and place orders; support office workflow.
