Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Dental Assistant I–III certifications or equivalent preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification required within 30 days.
• Experience in front desk or administrative duties preferred.
• On-the-job training in Dental Assisting acceptable.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in high-quality care within scope of service with standards.
• Prepare operatory and patient for treatment.
• Take and prepare radiographs using digital technology.
• Provide chair-side assistance to the Dentist.
• Close patient care, prepare for next patient, and manage lab cases flow.
• Monitor sterilization cycles and infection control.
• Help manage patient flow in clinic.
• Schedule dental appointments in person and by phone.
• Retrieve messages and forward to appropriate personnel.
• Verify patient eligibility and collect payments.
• Manage patient documentation (consents, treatment plans, referrals, invoices).
• Assist Patient access coordinators as time allows.
• Other duties as assigned.

Dental Assistant I: Radiation Safety Certificate + Infection Control Certificate

Dental Assistant II: Radiation Safety Certificate + Infection Control Certificate + 1 additional certificate

Dental Assistant III: Radiation Safety, Infection Control, Coronal Polish, Pit & Fissure Sealant certificates

First Aid and CPR Certified within 30 days of hire

On-the-job training or Certification in Dental Assisting

Prior experience in front desk reception, administrative and/or customer service

Bachelor’s degree in related field
