CompleteCare seeks a dental assistant to support the dentist in the operatory, prepare rooms, take X-rays, and ensure patient comfort. Under the supervision of the Dental Staff Manager, you will maintain instruments and supplies and assist in four-handed dentistry.

You will greet patients, review records, take vital signs, prep the operatory, disinfect rooms, maintain logs, provide post-op instructions, and help train staff.

Formación

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an approved educational program in dental assisting.
• Licensed/x-ray registration certificate approved by DEP.
• CPR required.
• Bilingual Spanish desirable.
• Able to stand long hours and work with hazardous materials.

Responsabilidades

• Greets patients and escorts them to the treatment area.
• Reviews dental records, next procedures, X-rays, referrals and medical history.
• Takes and records vital signs, such as blood pressure.
• Performs dental radiographs and ensures readability.
• Prepares operatory and explains planned procedures to patients.
• Assists dentist in four-handed dentistry and training of staff.
• Maintains logs for bio, sterilization, and instrument rotation.
• Disinfects rooms and maintains dental supply inventory.
• Provides post-operative instructions to patients.
• Adheres to confidentiality and safety policies.
