Meadows Spring Dental Care in Pflugerville, TX is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join a growing team. You will support dentists with a range of procedures, take X-rays, and manage patient records using Dentrix while ensuring high-quality patient care.

The role requires knowledge of dental terminology, certification as a dental assistant and/or X-ray, and strong communication skills. The clinic emphasizes learning, teamwork, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
• If required by state law, dental assistant and/or x-ray certification
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• HIPAA training and PHI protection responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients through their dental journey and educate for comfort
• Review patient health history for quality care
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D, digital photography)
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record-keeping
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC)
• Manage supplies and place expediting orders
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems
