Job summary

My Dentist – Weatherford, part of Heartland Dental, is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our state‑of‑the‑art practice in Weatherford, TX. You will support dentists with four‑handed dentistry, take and process X‑rays, manage patient education, and help maintain Dentrix scheduling and records while ensuring safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast‑paced, patient‑centric environments.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x‑ray certification as required by state act.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process X‑rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four‑handed dentistry) to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols (OSHA/CDC).
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
