Advanced Dental Care of Temple Terrace in Temple Terrace, FL is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our clinical team and provide high-level patient care in a team-based setting. You will support the office and assist dentists during treatments, helping us deliver excellent dental care to our community and create smiles.

Qualifications include a one-year dental assistant program or six months of on-the-job experience with X-ray certification; Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended,

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
• Six months on-the-job experience (with supporting documentation).
• X-Ray certification.
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake.
• Assist dentist in emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and emergency supplies.

Education

One-year certified dental assistant program

Six months on-the-job experience with documentation

X-Ray certification

Nitrous Oxide certification

High school diploma or equivalent
