Job summary

Advanced Dental Care of Riverview seeks a dedicated Dental Assistant in Riverview, FL to support the clinical team and deliver high-quality patient care in a team-based setting.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, taking X-rays, assisting dentists, and maintaining patient records while ensuring infection control and CPR readiness. Relevant certifications and experience are required for onboarding.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program or equivalent experience.
• Six months on-the-job experience with supporting documentation.
• X-ray certification and Nitrous Oxide certification are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, manage study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Enforce infection control protocols, protect patient privacy, follow regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling; assist with intake as needed.
• Assist in emergencies; keep CPR certification current and manage emergency supplies.
