Advanced Dental Care of Venice is seeking a Dental Assistant in Venice, FL to support the clinical team with patient care and treatment assistance. The role requires sterilization, radiography, and post-treatment patient education in a team-based office.

The ideal candidate will hold an accredited dental assisting program, X-ray certification, and CPR training, with Nitrous Oxide certification strongly preferred. Benefits include flexible scheduling and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program or equivalent.
• Six months on-the-job experience with supporting documentation is acceptable.
• X-Ray certification is required; Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments; assist dentists during procedures.
• Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Ensure infection control protocols and patient confidentiality; maintain patient records and scheduling.
