Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• NJ DRT license or pursuing licensure required.
• X-ray license required; CPR certification required.
• RDA license preferred; CDA preferred.
• 1+ year Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist chairside and manage instruments.
• Maintain inventory in operatories.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.
• Coordinate scheduling, follow-up care, and record keeping.
• Perform basic lab tasks: impressions, pour models, prep for external labs.
• Place and remove arch wires and orthodontic components as needed.
• Support patient interactions and care coordination.
