Job summary

Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is seeking committed Dental Assistants to join our team providing critical services to detainees within the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Health Services Corps facilities. Candidates should hold a dental assisting certificate and possess one year of clinical experience.

This position requires strong communication skills, knowledge of dental assisting principles, and the ability to work in a multi-lingual environment. Full availability for various shifts is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current unrestricted dental assisting certificate as required by the State Board.
• Must have dental x-ray certification or evidence of dental radiology training.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification through the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental assisting including clinical and administrative duties.
• Assist with patient treatment and maintain records.
• Take digital and/or film radiographs as ordered.

Verbal and written communication in English

Ability to respond to medical emergencies

Interpersonal skills

Education

Completion of a dental assisting program

At least one year of clinical experience
