Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Dental Assistant certification and X-ray certification are required where state law mandates.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support and assist patients through every treatment stage.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, and materials for each patient appointment.
• Assist dentists with dentures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments as directed.
• Take and assist with denture impressions and wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs, and other duties permitted by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, options, and post-operative care.
