Affordable Dentures & Implants in Humble, TX seeks a compassionate Dental Assistant to support chairside care across denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, and prosthetic treatments. You’ll prepare operatories, assist dentists, and educate patients on care and treatment options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (where required by state)
• Strong communication and patient service skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding patient care and create a welcoming, positive experience from check-in through treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials before each patient appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, dental implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments
• Take and assist with alginate denture impressions, select appropriate impression trays, and prepare wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, repairs, and other expanded duties where permitted by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post-operative care, home care instructions, and financial packages.
• Obtain and document patient medical histories, treatment information, and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with state certification requirements.
• Maintain strict infection prevention and sterilization standards by cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing instruments and operatories.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering clinical supplies.
• Support daily office operations, including maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment.
• Travel occasionally for training and continuing education opportunities as needed.
• Perform additional duties to support patient care and office success.
