Affordable Care is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our growing network of dental offices. You’ll provide chairside support during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, and removable prosthetics, while helping patients through every step of treatment.

In this role you’ll prepare operatories, assist dentists, take impressions and X-rays, and maintain infection control. Our team partners with experienced dentists and in-house lab professionals to deliver high quality tooth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (where required by state).
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chairside assistance and support patient care throughout treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take alginate denture impressions and wax bites as directed.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs, and related expanded duties.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, options, and post-operative care.
• Obtain and document patient medical histories and clinical notes.
• Take dental radiographs in line with state certification.
• Maintain infection control standards and sterilize instruments.
• Monitor inventory and help order supplies.
• Travel occasionally for training.
• Support daily office operations and maintain clean environment.
