Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (where required by state) is required.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chairside patient care and ensure a welcoming experience from check-in through treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials before each patient appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take denture impressions and wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, and repairs where allowed by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, and post-operative care.
• Take dental radiographs in accordance with state certification requirements.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards.
