Affordable Dentures & Implants in Overland Park, KS is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to provide chairside support through denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, and removable prosthetics. You will work with a team of dentists and in-house lab professionals to deliver high-quality tooth replacement solutions while ensuring patient comfort from check-in to post-treatment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding patient care and create a welcoming experience from check-in through treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials before each patient appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, dental implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with alginate denture impressions, select impression trays, and prepare wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, repairs, and other expanded duties where permitted by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post-operative care, and home care instructions.
• Obtain and document patient medical histories, treatment information, and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with state certification requirements.
• Maintain strict infection prevention and sterilization standards by cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing instruments and operatories.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering clinical supplies.
• Support daily office operations, including maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment.
