Job summary

Affiliated Dental Support in Fleming Island, FL is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant focused on patient care. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist the doctor, take digital radiographs, and capture accurate iTero scans in a modern, friendly practice. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of dental assisting experience, an active Florida X-Ray license, and a Dental Assistant certification. Open Dental experience is a plus; we offer a supportive team and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience strongly preferred.
• Current Dental Assistant Certification.
• Florida X-Ray License required.
• Familiarity with Open Dental is a plus.
• Excellent communication and team-oriented attitude.
• Dependable and detail-focused in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and assist the doctor during dental procedures.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced, patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team in Fleming Island! If you're passionate about dentistry, enjoy working with modern technology, and love creating exceptional patient experiences, we'd love to meet you.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation

• Up to $27.00 per hour

What You'll Do

• Prepare treatment rooms and assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures
• Take high-quality digital radiographs
• Capture accurate iTero digital scans
• Assist with treatment workflows
• Educate patients before and after treatment
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
• Ensure patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience strongly preferred
• Current Dental Assistant Certification
• Current Florida X-Ray License (required)
• Familiarity with Open Dental practice management software is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
