Job summary
Affiliated Dental Support in Fleming Island, FL is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant focused on patient care. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist the doctor, take digital radiographs, and capture accurate iTero scans in a modern, friendly practice. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of dental assisting experience, an active Florida X-Ray license, and a Dental Assistant certification. Open Dental experience is a plus; we offer a supportive team and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience strongly preferred.
- Current Dental Assistant Certification.
- Florida X-Ray License required.
- Familiarity with Open Dental is a plus.
- Excellent communication and team-oriented attitude.
- Dependable and detail-focused in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and assist the doctor during dental procedures.
- Take high-quality digital radiographs.
- Capture accurate iTero digital scans.
- Assist with treatment workflows.
- Educate patients before and after treatment.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean clinical environment.
- Ensure patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout visits.
