Job summary

Neighborcare Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide chairside support to the Dentist and Hygienist, assist with preparation and maintenance of instruments, and ensure aseptic care. You will interact with patients to determine visit purpose and collect vital signs, while maintaining top-notch service standards.

The role requires a WA Dental Assistant license, BLS, and at least 280 hours of chairside experience.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Active WA State Dept. of Health Dental Assistant license required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum 280 hours chairside dental assisting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair side assistance and prep operatory for procedures.
• Interview patient to determine visit reason and record vital signs.
• Take digital x-rays and intraoral photos; take impressions.
• Prepare clinic for next day and coordinate with team to optimize patient experience.
