Job summary

Neighborcare Health is seeking a Dental Assistant Float to provide chairside support across clinics in Seattle. You will prepare operatory, assist with a wide mix of procedures, and maintain instruments and equipment under dentist supervision.

You will also handle patient intake tasks, take x-rays, and help with daily scheduling and team huddles to optimize patient care. A Washington license and BLS are required, with 280 hours of prior chairside experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Washington State Dental Assistant license and BLS certification are required.
• Minimum of 280 hours chairside dental assisting experience.
• Ability to adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance by preparing operatory and setting up instruments for procedures.
• Take digital x-rays, intraoral photos, and digital scans.
• Prepare the clinic for next day’s schedule and coordinate with dental providers.
