Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers seeks a Dental Assistant to support dental providers with four-handed chairside care and patient education in a busy clinic.

Must have a DA program, WA state registration, and English literacy; CPR/BLS within 90 days; TB testing annually. Training on Dentrix and Allscripts PM, with OSHA compliance and charting in SOAP/PARTS formats are required. Benefits included; hourly plan.

Qualifications

• Must read and write in English.
• Dental Assistant must have completed a formal DA program.
• Registered with WA State DOH and maintain registration.
• CPR (BLS) must be obtained within 90 days and maintained.
• Annual TB test and health screenings required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dental providers with chairside procedures using four-handed technique.
• Greet and escort patients to treatment rooms; maintain courtesy and confidentiality.
• Educate patients before, during, and after procedures; communicate delays to staff.
• Document charting in Dentrix using SOAP or PARTS formats.
• Maintain sterilization and OSHA standards across clinic areas.
