Job summary

Neighborcare Health is seeking a Lead Dental Assistant at Pacific Tower in Seattle to provide chairside support for dentists and hygienists. This role includes operatory prep, patient intake, imaging, impressions, and provisional crown fabrication, with emphasis on aseptic technique and patient safety.

The ideal candidate will have a WA DA license, BLS, 280 hours chairside experience, and a strong commitment to HIPAA compliance and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Washington license required and BLS certification
• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality required
• Minimum 280 hours chairside experience in dental assisting
• Proficient in dental terminology and asepsis standards
• Experience with electronic dental records is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide chair side assistance and operatory prep for scheduled procedures.
• Interview patients to determine visit reason and record vital signs.
• Place sealants, fluoride treatments, coronal polish, and oral hygiene instruction.
• Take digital x-rays and intraoral photos; take and pour impressions.
• Fabricate provisional crowns and assist with prosthodontic procedures.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and pass instruments safely during procedures.
• Prepare the clinic for next day’s schedule and coordinate with providers.
• Assist in back-office meetings and maintain documentation in the EDR/EMR.
