Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers seeks a dedicated Dental Assistant to support dental providers in delivering high-quality patient care. You will perform chair-side assistance using four-handed dentistry, manage patient flow, and help with charting in Dentrix and patient data in Allscripts PM.

The ideal candidate will read and write in English, be bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and hold a Dental Assistant certificate with WA State DOH registration.

Qualifications

• Must read and write in English.
• Dental Assistant program completion required.
• Registered with Washington State Department of Health (DOH) and maintain registration.
• BLS/ CPR certification within 90 days of hire; annual TB test and flu vaccine required.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side assistance using four-handed dentistry.
• Escort and position patients; maintain professional communication.
• Record vital signs and assist with charting in Dentrix.
• Assist in scheduling and patient registration in Dentrix and Allscripts PM.
• Maintain sterilization and OSHA compliance in all clinic areas.
• Support training of new staff and inventory management.
