Job summary

Neighborcare Health, at the 45th Street Clinic in Seattle, seeks a Dental Assistant to provide chairside support for dentists and hygienists. You will prep operatory, handle instruments, assist with procedures, take x-rays, and help with patient care while ensuring confidentiality and safety standards.

Preferred candidates have a WA Dental Assistant license, BLS, and at least 280 hours of chairside experience, with strong teamwork and patient-service focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• WA DOH Dental Assistant license is required.
• BLS Certification is required.
• Minimum 280 hours chairside dental assisting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair side assistance preparing operatory and instruments for procedures.
• Interview patient to determine reason for visit and take vital signs.
• Take digital x-rays and intraoral photos; pour impressions.
• Prepare clinic for next day and communicate daily schedules.
