Job summary

Neighborcare Health seeks a Dental Assistant for the 45th Street Clinic in Seattle, WA. This on-site, 0.75 FTE role supports the Dentist and Hygienist with chairside procedures, instrument prep, and patient care during scheduled visits.

Responsibilities include x-rays, impressions, sealants, fluoride, and maintaining aseptic standards. Eligibility requires WA license, BLS, and 280 hours chairside experience; strong HIPAA compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current WA Dental Assistant license and BLS certification.
• Minimum 280 hours of chairside dental assisting experience.
• Ability to meet HIPAA and confidentiality policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair side assistance and prepare operatory for procedures.
• Take digital x-rays and intraoral photos; take impressions.
• Manage sterilization, instrument setup, and aseptic techniques.
• Schedule appointments and document in EHR.
• Assist with restorations, extractions, endodontics, scaling, pediatrics.
