St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. This pediatric practice is dedicated to providing exceptional care in a fun, welcoming environment for children and families.

You will support the dentist and clinical team in creating a positive, comfortable experience for patients while following safety and infection-control protocols. This role requires dependability, attention to detail, and strong communication to keep the practice

Qualifications

• Experience in dental or medical setting preferred but not required.
• Active dental assistant certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and exams.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
• Take and process dental X-rays in compliance with safety regulations.

• Maintain infection control, sterilization, and OSHA compliance.
• Support the clinical team with daily patient care and office operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

As a Dental Assistant, you will support the dentist and clinical team in providing exceptional pediatric dental care while helping create a positive, comfortable experience for children and their families.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and exams
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
• Take and process dental X-rays in compliance with applicable safety regulations
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain infection control, sterilization, and OSHA compliance
• Support the clinical team with daily patient care and office operations
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience or knowledge in a dental or medical setting preferred, but not required
