Smiley Tooth Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our pediatric team. The role supports doctors and staff in delivering exceptional care in a child-friendly environment, with a focus on creating positive experiences for children and families.

The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, and passionate about pediatric dentistry, with strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach. This is a full-time, on-site position in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification per state requirements.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures and safety protocols.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, patient-focused approach to working with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and exams.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
• Take and process dental X-rays in accordance with applicable state regulations.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain infection control, sterilization, and OSHA compliance.
• Help create a calm, positive, and welcoming experience for pediatric patients.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
