Job summary

Keller Family Dental in Keller, TX is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join a patient-focused team. You will support the dentist with clinical and administrative duties, ensuring comfort and quality care for every patient.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of dental assisting experience, CDA or RDA certification, and strong knowledge of instruments, sterilization, and infection control. EFDA and radiology certs are a plus. On-site, full-time role with great benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting in a clinical setting.
• Dental Assistant Certification (CDA or RDA) required; EFDA or radiology certs are a plus.
• Knowledge of instruments, sterilization methods, and infection control protocols.
• Experience with dental software (Dentrix or Eaglesoft) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for treatments or check-ups, ensuring comfort.
• Set up instruments and assist dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols.
• Assist with lab tasks and provide post-operative care instructions.
• Maintain patient records, charts, and treatment documentation.
• Schedule patient appointments and support office operations.
• Perform non-surgical tasks such as coronal polishing if certified and other regulated tasks as allowed.
